Fanawar IT Pvt Ltd ("we," "our," or "us") operates and maintains the AI Keyboard mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we access, collect, use, process, and safeguard your information when you download, install, or use our App.

1. Special Notice on Keyboard Keystrokes & Sensitive Data

Because AI Keyboard operates as an input method editor (IME), we strictly uphold the highest privacy standards regarding what you type:

  • Passwords & Sensitive Fields: We NEVER log, store, collect, or transmit sensitive inputs such as credit card numbers, passwords, PINs, social security numbers, or banking credentials.

  • Keystroke Logging: Your regular typing data (letters, numbers, punctuation) is processed locally on your device for real-time text rendering, auto-correction, and next-word suggestions. Keystrokes are not uploaded to our servers or sold to any third parties.

2. Information We Access, Collect, & How It Is Used

We only access or process data that is essential to deliver and enhance the core functionality of the App:

A. Voice Typing & Audio Data

  • Permissions Used: RECORD_AUDIO / Microphone access.

  • Usage: When you activate the voice typing feature, your audio input is processed to convert speech to text in real time.

  • Handling: Audio recordings are processed ephemerally (momentarily) for transcription purposes only and are not retained or stored on our servers.

B. AI Typing Assistance & Auto-Corrections

  • Features: Text enhancement, grammar correction, translations, and AI-generated text completions.

  • Handling: When you explicitly trigger an AI feature (e.g., asking the AI to rewrite a sentence), the specific snippet of selected text is transmitted securely via HTTPS to our encrypted processing servers.

  • Data Retention: Text prompts sent to AI features are processed in real time and are not saved, used to build personal user profiles, or used to train public machine learning models.

C. Custom Themes, Fonts & Stickers

  • Permissions Used: READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / Media Access (where applicable).

  • Usage: Used strictly to allow you to select background images from your photo gallery to create custom keyboard themes or import custom sticker packs.

  • Handling: Your photos and media files remain entirely on your local device and are never uploaded to our servers.

D. Device & Performance Information

  • Data Collected: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID), language preferences, crash logs, and app interaction statistics.

  • Usage: Used for technical troubleshooting, app stability performance, analytics, and serving contextually relevant advertisements.

3. Third-Party Services & SDKs

To provide advertising, analytics, and core infrastructure, our App integrates trusted third-party SDKs. These providers may collect pseudonymous device information in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

  • Google Play Services (Core functionality & licensing)

  • Google AdMob (In-app advertising)

  • Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Crash logging and performance monitoring)

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information. All communications between the App and external servers (such as AI processing endpoints) are encrypted in transit using Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS HTTPS).

Our App is not intended for or directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately so we can purge the information.

Since our App does not require account creation and processes typing/audio data ephemerally, we store minimal to no identifiable personal data.
